MANAGING PARTNER

Founded by Doug Eldridge in 2007, the DLE Agency is a full-service Representation, Consultation and Strategic Advisement firm, based out of Washington, DC (USA).

DLE provides a variety of brand development services including: contractual negotiation, public relations planning and development, media management, integrated marketing initiatives, as well as strategic and crisis communication services.

With a diverse roster of athletes and personalities, as well as corporate clientele that includes emerging and established brands, the DLE Agency is quickly becoming a recognized global service provider.

Unlike many agencies, DLE is not a product of progressive buy-outs and mergers between small and medium sized firms. To the contrary, we started out as one agent and one client and have expanded that vision brick by brick.

In 2007, Doug Eldridge left federal practice with a vision of returning to his athletic roots. As a high school All-America and collegiate 400m hurdler, Eldridge completed two Ironman triathlons during law school, and was never far removed from the athlete's mindset and evolving need base. Seeing a gap in reliable client services, he created the DLE Sports Management Group, where his earliest clients were cyclists, marathoners and soccer players.

Utilizing creative media strategies and brand-building negotiation techniques, the size and scope of the DLE client base continued to grow and expand to eventually include NFL, NBA, UCI, IAAF, as well as triathlon, golf, MMA, and motor sports clientele.

As the client base--and accompanying services--continued to expand, DLE began working with musicians and on-air personalities in addition to their bedrock sports clientele. In 2010, the name was changed to the DLE Agency, in order to reflect the broad and expanding range of client services that made up the firm's evolving book of business.

This organic growth process continued for DLE. Emerging and established corporate entities of various sizes and sectors, took note of the work that was done with our individual clients and hired DLE to scale those services and apply them in the context of strategic corporate advisement.

Today, the DLE Agency has three internal, freestanding divisions--the Representation, Consultation and Strategic Advisement groups--serving individual and corporate clients around the world. Brick by brick, brand by brand, we are building our vision of committed client service.
